Chicago Family Session - Grace, 9 months

Are you sitting down right now?  If you aren't, you probably should be because the overload of cuteness is about to knock you on your derrière...

You can't say I didn't warn you!  Meet Grace, the most adorable 9 month old in all of Lincoln Park, vying quite possibly for the Chicago title.  Oh my goodness, I could have photographed this little one all day long!  From her concerned looks, harkening to a soul far old than her actual age, to her absolutely heart warming adorable giggles, Grace showed her parents that she really needs to be put in front of a camera more often.  We were convinced she was secretly saying "C'mon people, look at ME!"Even more exciting than Grace's overwhelming cuteness was the opportunity I had to capture the real, every day, nitty gitty life of her family.  From bubble baths and the struggle to put on tights to music and silly dances, this is the 9-month old world Grace lives in and it is absolutely beautiful.

I love capturing families amidst their every day routines.  It is in these routines and sometimes rough moments (like getting your hair brushed!) where each relationship is unique and lovely.  We'll always remember the big moments - the birthdays and graduations, first dates and first dances -  but it's these little ones that slip through the cracks yet make up so much of who we are.

Not to mention, it's those rough hair brushing moments that make the giggles all the more sweet.
