Quad Cities Wedding - Brooke & Paris

As Brooke's father mentioned during the reception, these two must have been destined from the start.  How else would a chance passing while running one morning lead to the beautiful day below?  Well, perhaps because it was in the making from an elementary school friendship to mutual friends and strong family ties.  On a toasty late August Saturday, Brooke & Paris brought a story many years in the making to a whole new level as they were pronounced husband & wife at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in East Moline, IL.

The lighting outside the church before their ceremony was beautiful!!  Thank you overcast :)

Hehe, love this one!

Love this one too.  Okay, let's be honest, you know I can't pick just one favorite!

After a beautiful ceremony steeped in rich tradition it was onto a rockin' reception at the iWireless Center along the Mississippi River.  Now given that I'm 50% Belgian, I knew Brooke & Paris' celebration would be a good time, but I'm fairly certain that Paris' family's Greek dance moves put everyone to shame.  But before we get to the dance floor, Brooke's dad surprised everyone by saying his speech in Greek!  Well done Mr. DeGrande!!

Time to dance!

Congratulations Brooke & Paris.  It was an honor to be a part of your beautiful day and such fun to see so many wonderful people come together to celebrate your new life together.
