Wicker Park Engagement - Cait & Aaron

If this isn't one of the most Instagram-able Wicker Park engagement sessions you've ever seen, then I'm not sure what is. I mean, even Mr. Walter's bandana was on point! ;-)I loved the details that Caitlin thought through for her and Aaron's casual session. I'm certain these two look gorgeous just curled up on a couch in their pj's, but the perfect wicker picnic basket and a bottle of bubbly really made their neighborhood stroll over the top adorable! It can be tricky to bring props into a session and still have everything feel natural. Caitlin found just the right balance to create an authentic evening in the park with her guys - the ideal Wicker Park engagement.wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0009 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0011 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0006Details truly bring a look together for photos. Caitlin's teal earrings were the perfect pop to her classic summer look.wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0002wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0004 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0015 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0012 Not pictured here, Walter desperately trying to nibble on all the delicious snacks his humans brought.wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0014 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0017 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0016 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0020 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0010 Love this subtle little intimate moment between these two!wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0019wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0005 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0018 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0007 Wicker Park is a mecca for great colors and murals hidden around every corner. Caitlin & Aaron's neutral colored outfits allowed us to take advantage of every aspect of the neighborhood they love so much without causing distraction away from what the photos should be all about - these two enjoying quality time together. (Insider Tip: Consider neutrals for your wedding party ensembles as well. It allows your floral colors to really pop!) But neutrals don't have to be boring either! The lace texture of Cait's dress was a stunning way to create a unique look and of course, you know I love when the guys ramp up their own style game to match the ladies. Well done Aaron!wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0021 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0022 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0023 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0008 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0003 wicker-park-engagement-photos-rebecca-marie-photography_0024Cait & Aaron, I had so much fun walking around Wicker Park with you two. I can't wait to see what fantastic style you bring to your big day next July!
